Main purpose of the role:

The Global Product Owner Total Rewards (m/f/d) is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing globally integrated Total Rewards products focused on products such as Merit, Short-Term Incentives (STI), Long-Term Incentives (LTI), Performance Management, Benchmarking and Grading. This role ensures alignment with Fresenius Group’s strategic objectives by transforming decentralized systems into harmonized frameworks, connecting product areas such as EU Pay Transparency, Pay Bands and Benchmarking, and Total Rewards Statements. The role emphasizes technology enablement, particularly leveraging a global Workday ecosystem, and fosters stakeholder alignment, cultural change, and continuous improvement to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Global Accountability: Lead the transformation of Global Rewards Products and their processes into globally integrated product frameworks aligned with strategic goals.
  • End-to-End Product Leadership: Own and govern the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Global Rewards Products, ensuring operational excellence and employee-centric outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with global HR teams, other Global Product and Process Owners, and business stakeholders to embed Global Rewards Products into the broader #OneHR and #HRTransformation strategy.
  • Technology Enablement: Drive the implementation and optimization of Workday and other digital tools to support product delivery and data-driven decision-making.
  • Product Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Global Rewards Products with related Total Rewards areas such as EU Pay Transparency, Pay Bands, Benchmarking, LTIs, and Total Rewards Statements.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure all product components comply with local and global regulations and adhere to governance standards.
  • Change Leadership: Act as a catalyst for cultural and organizational change, building alignment and support for global product initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups.

Qualifications:

  • University degree and at least 10 years of international experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Rewards Consulting or related HR domains.
  • Proven experience in global product or process ownership, particularly in the design, deployment, and governance of Merit and STI programs.
  • Strong expertise in Workday and other core HR technology systems, with the ability to leverage data for strategic insights.
  • Experience in integrating Total Rewards products with broader HR initiatives such as Pay Transparency, Benchmarking, and LTIs.
  • Proficiency in process optimization and agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and a creative, solution-oriented mindset to balance diverse stakeholder priorities.
  • Strategic and people-oriented thinking with a focus on maximizing process efficiency and employee experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
  • Experience working in in-house consulting or transformation roles is highly desirable.
