Quality Assurance – Operational Excellence Lead (m/f/d)

In this pivotal role, you’ll play a key part in steering strategic quality initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our global operations.

Your assignments

• Lead the development and deployment of Operational Excellence strategies to align with company-wide goals.
• Serve as the gatekeeper for all quality-related projects, ensuring alignment and progress across business units.
• Conduct business case evaluations and oversee project execution, keeping a keen eye on impact and completeness.
• Manage Leadership Programs in a multi-project environment, focusing on efficiency and digital transformation.
• Establish governance and best practices for strategic quality projects, ensuring effective decision-making and communication.
• Design and coordinate capability-building programs, including curriculum development and trainer supervision.
• Promote collaboration with regional and global stakeholders to drive and sustain quality improvement initiatives.
• Champion Lab Excellence and contribute to the enhancement of local Quality Management Systems.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ practical experience in pharmaceutical quality, with substantial plant operations and GMP expertise.
• Proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional change management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Lab Excellence programs and quality control systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and integrity, with the ability to inspire and collaborate across teams.
• High IT affinity and fluency in English; Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and deliver actionable business insights.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed to support organizational objectives.
